Can't really imbue your weapon, but you can make it work for your element.

On your weapon, get a Fiery mod. Like if using a bow, get a Fiery Bowstring. Then go to your skills and get Conjure Flame. As long as you are enchanted with that and do Fire damage (Firey Bowstring), you will do +X amount of fire damage with each hit. Basically giving you an imbued Firey weapon kinda sorta :P

Only real imbue type of thing you can do.

This skill is the closest to what you are describing.

while ele's can only add +elemental damage to weapons, ritualists can have much more diverse afffects from interrupting, increasing energy gain to life stealing, etc.

(although they are called "weapon spells", not all of them have a direct effect on your weapon's attack)

You have time, please formulate and spell your post correctly.....
And no I do not believe you can "imbue" a weapon. Conjure Flame/Lightning/Frost and Weapon spells are the closest you will get.

The good thing about Conjure element ie conjure fire and a fiery weapon mod is that it adds a small bonus even with no points in the element.
You don't have to weaken the character by dropping points elsewhere to max the element any spare points will do.

Check out the damage vs points spent in element to work out the best for your build.

As for the spelling blame mobile phone texts, anyone who can spell Imbue while using u and ure is just a victim of the current texting fad.

Guild Wars is not like any MMO. Please understand that.

Just like what everyone else has already said.

Imbueing a weapon with customized modifications would not be considered ballanced and Guild Wars was originally designed for PvP first. PvE skills and title buffs came later to make people feel better.

Its about your skills, not your weapons.
